ClearCorrect Aligners
CROOKED TEETH? CLEARCORRECT® PRESENTS A COMFORTABLE, COSMETIC ALTERNATIVE TO “METAL-MOUTH” BRACES
Today’s braces are not your mother’s or grandmother’s braces. They may not even be the braces you remember from childhood. How you hated those metal wires, stainless steel brackets, and rubber bands, how their hard and sharp edges that used to rub against the insides of your mouth. This design provided the constant force necessary to move pearly whites into the proper place but didn’t provide comfort or a pleasant treatment experience. The conventional braces of today have come a long way in terms of looks, thanks to tooth-colored brackets and wires. But, Smiles4Life Dental is proud to introduce to our Visalia, California area patients alternatives to braces: ClearCorrect®.
A CLEAR OPTION FOR YOUR BEST EXPERIENCE
Both a natural and discreet appearance and a comfortable feel in the mouth have eluded traditional braces. But, ClearCorrect® doesn’t use braces! Instead, this orthodontic treatment depends on a series of nearly invisible aligners made from transparent, smooth, and flexible plastic. Each aligner is custom-made to fit your mouth.
Once you slip it in, the aligner places consistent yet well-tolerated pressure on the teeth. These forces gradually reposition the teeth. When worn in the correct order as directed, they effectively correct crowded, crooked, gapped, and unevenly spaced teeth. ClearCorrect® may also be appropriate to resolve bite issues, which refer to imbalances between the upper and lower teeth in the jaws when patients close their mouths.
Perhaps one of the biggest benefits of ClearCorrect® is that the aligner trays may be removed. You can take out your aligner when eating meals. They can also be removed when brushing and flossing your teeth. So, you never have to stop eating your favorite foods just because of orthodontic treatment. Likewise, you can maintain excellent oral hygiene. You may continue to brush and floss your teeth normally. In turn, you are not at risk of developing new oral problems like decay and gum disease during treatment.
